Tierra Basics
Our Tierra Basics collection brings together the essential range of handcrafted glazed ceramics from the Tierra line, offered in a palette of colours and formats designs to work across a wide range of interior applications. Each tile is formed from high-fired natural clay and individually hand glazed by skilled artisans, which means the subtle variation in tone, texture, and glaze is a product of the manufacturing process rather than a design flaw.
The collection spans square and rectangular formats, as well as the distinctive Estrela star shape, giving designers and homeowners flexibility in how the tiles are laid and combined. Colourways range from clean, speckled neutrality of Nieve and Nieve Punto through to the deep earthy richness of Havana brown, and the muted sage tones of Smoke. For those looking to extend the handmade aesthetic into other areas of the home, our Tierra tiles collection offers the full range of Tierra designs beyond just the basics.
Tierra Basics tiles are well suited to bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, feature walls , and fireplaces, where the depth and movement of the hand glaze becomes a part of the space rather than just a surface finish. The glazed ceramic construction also performs reliably in commercial settings and architectural projects where both durability and visual character are a consideration. Our limestone flooring tiles and natural stone tiles complement the earthier end of the Tierra palette, offering a natural stone counterpoint to the ceramic finish.
Every tile in this range is inspected against the Tiles of Ezra standard before it reaches you, a process developed through years of collaboration with our artisan partners to ensure each piece meets our expectations for craftsmanship, glaze quality, and consistency. For those drawn to handmade tilework, our handmade Moroccan Zellige tiles and Moroccan Zellige basics share a similar artisanal character, while our Zellige tile designs offer additional pattern and colour options for more detailed schemes.
